Police are investigating the historic death of a 10 month old baby in Dargaville

Police are investigating the historic death of a 10 month old baby in Dargaville

The sudden death of Kween Thompson was reported to police in July... but police say it was not until the following days they were made aware of a non-accidental injury.

Police say it looks as if the injury does not relate to the death but they are engaging with medical experts to understand more about it and are keeping an open mind.

They want to hear from anyone who saw Kween in the two weeks prior to her death.
