Two Mongrel Mob associates have been jailed after beating and stomping a man to death in Hastings in 2022

Two Mongrel Mob associates have been jailed after beating and stomping a man to death in Hastings in 2022

29-year-old school teacher Darcy Strickland suffered unsurvivable injuries when he was attacked by a 21 year old and a 24 year old.

Open Justice reports the 21 year old pleaded guilty and was jailed for life with a minimum non-parole period of 12 years for beating on Strickland for several minutes.

The 24 year old was convicted of manslaughter and jailed for three years 11 months.

The victim's mother, Louise Strickland, says her heart's been totally shattered, and his brother has called the murderer a coward.
