    Former Black Caps all-rounder Corey Anderson has played a leading role in a key win for the United States cricket side


    The 33-year-old has hit an unbeaten 34 from 25 balls - and bowled two overs for 10 runs - to secure a five-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the opening game of their three-match T20 series in Texas.

    They had previously only beaten Ireland among full-member nations.

    Anderson debuted for his new country last month - he's earned US citizenship having lived stateside with his American wife since 2020.
