New Zealand's failed to win a medal in the team equestrian following the showjumping phase at the Tokyo Olympics

New Zealand's failed to win a medal in the team equestrian following the showjumping phase at the Tokyo Olympics

The trio of Tim and Jonelle Price and Jesse Campbell have dropped from fourth to fifth, with Britain winning.

Speaking on Sky Sport, Tim Price concedes the inexperience of his horse Vitali may have come into it.

Jonelle finished 11th in the individual, Campbell was 22nd and Tim dropped from fourth to 24th after conceding 33.6 penalties across both jumping rounds.

New Zealand eventing's team bronze in 2012 remains their only medal since 2000.
