Taylor Swift has filed to trademark "Female Rage: The Musical"

The 34-year-old pop superstar just added a new segment to her 'Eras Tour' show dedicated to her album 'The Tortured Poets Department', dubbed Female Rage: The Musical, which she debuted at her comeback gig at La Défense Arena in Paris, France, last week

And days later, TAS Rights Management - which protects the Grammy winner's image rights - submitted papers for the trademark on May 11, Us Weekly reports.

The 'Anti-Hero' hitmaker is seemingly either going to use the phrase in merchandise or planning a musical of the same name, the latter of which some fans think is unlikely.

One responded on X/Twitter: "My guess is this is probably for merch.

"I do not see her making a musical that's literally named this. Seems too on the nose for a real piece of work, but works well as a funny eras tour joke."

Taylor penned a thank you note expressing her gratitude to everyone who helped make the changes to her show possible.

In a post on Instagram, she penned: "This post is dedicated to the new 'Tortured Poets' section of the 'Eras Tour' (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made these memories so magical.

"To my crew, fellow performers, and band who worked tirelessly in their break to concoct this surprise for you - but mostly for the fans in Paris.

"I'm so thankful that it was you we got to show this to for the first time because you gave us so much excitement, passion, and love. I'm SO fired up to play this for every crowd on the tour. See you very soon, Stockholm!"

The new section of the show includes songs from the new album which were performed live for the first time in Paris.

Taylor sang 'But Daddy I Love Him' and 'So High School' together along with 'Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me?', Down Bad', 'Fortnight', 'The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived' and 'I Can Do It With A Broken Heart'.

The tour features songs from all of Taylor's album "eras" and is now up to date with the inclusion of 'The Tortured Poets Department'.

To make way for the new segment, the singer had to restructure the show and cut songs from other areas.

Tracks which have been chopped include 'The Archer', 'Long Live' and 'The 1 ' as well as 'Tis The Damn Season', 'Tolerate It' and 'The Last Great American Dynasty'.

'The Eras' tour kicked off in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona and Taylor will perform 152 stadium dates across the globe before wrapping the shows in Vancouver, Canada in December.

Taylor continues the mammoth jaunt at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on May 17.
