Madonna has hinted she once kissed Michael Jackson

The 58-year-old singer teased there was romance between her and the late King of Pop - who died of acute propofol intoxication in 2009 - when quizzed on their friendship by James Corden.

In a trailer for her upcoming appearance on 'Carpool Karaoke', James asked about her hanging out with Michael Jackson.

She teasingly replied: "You want me to kiss and tell then, don't you?"

Also in the trailer for the song-filled journey around New York City. Madonna demonstrated her twerking skills.

In the clip from her upcoming appearance on the popular 'Late Late Show' segment, the 'Material Girl' hitmaker is seen dancing against her car seat while James plays music through the radio speakers.

James said: "Thank you so much for showing me around the city. I don't know New York that well. Do you mind if we listen to music?"

Madonna responds by saying: "I don't really like riding around in a car unless there's music."

The pair then pose to 'Vogue', before Madonna then started to twerk on her car seat, with her bum facing the camera.

Meanwhile, Madonna recently claimed it has become too "easy to become famous" over the last few years.

The iconic star said some musicians are too "focused on fame", rather than working on their art.

She explained: "I was already famous before social media, so for me fame isn't the burden. Fame is the manifestation or the by-product of my work, and that was two decades before social media.

"Now to me the burden is people are more focused on fame than actually doing the work or being an artist. Now it's easy to become famous. What isn't easy is to develop and grow as an artist without being distracted or consumed with fame."
