Oprah Winfrey made last minute change to wedding outfit ahead of royal wedding as she didn't want dress to cause a stir

The 64-year-old star had a last minute panic on Friday (18.05.18), worrying that her beige dress looked too white, and has thanked the Stella McCartney team for rustling something new up in less than 24 hours

Sharing a video on Instagram, she said: "I would like to thank the Stella McCartney team for working all night long to get this dress finished because we had dressgate. Wrong colour. Now we got the right color. I think we’re going to do okay."

And in the caption, Oprah gushed about the "extraordinary" day.

She wrote on the photo sharing site: "Thank you @stellamccartney ! She wrote on Instagram: "Congratulations, an amazing day. So proud to be British! Thank you so much for including @davidbeckham and I. We are so honoured and so happy for you both. x vb (sic)"

Whilst David shared on his own page: "What a proud day for our country today! Watching Harry as happy as he was makes us all proud of the man and person he has always been...what a day! @kensingtonroyal (sic)"
