BMX rider Leila Walker is targeting the World Championships in August as an opportunity to make a splash on the global stage

The 17-year-old had her first taste of the UCI World Cup last year, winning the under-23 title at the final round of the circuit in Colombia.
Walker admits the event was a shock to the system, but it's given her full confidence heading into this year's racing.
Walker's next stop is the UCI Oceania Championships in Rotorua next month.
