A protest campaign's ramping up against proposed cuts to Dunedin Hospital

A protest campaign's ramping up against proposed cuts to Dunedin Hospital

The Government's facing backlash since it announced a 200-million-dollar cost escalation will be dealt with by shaving off 90-million-dollars to the original design.

The City Council's 'They Save, We Pay' campaign wants the cuts reversed and for the full suite of services and facilities delivered as promised.

Mayor Jules Radich says in one week they've managed to get 10-thousand signatures.

He says he's still yet to come across someone who doesn't support the campaign.
