    New Zealand swimmers Erika Fairweather and Lewis Clareburt have both advanced to the finals of their specialist events at the World Championships in Japan later tonight

    New Zealand swimmers Erika Fairweather and Lewis Clareburt have both advanced to the finals of their specialist events at the World Championships in Japan later tonight


    Fairweather was third in her 400 metre freestyle heat - qualifying fifth fastest for a star-studded final.

    Clareburt was fourth in heat three of his specialist event - the 400 metre individual medley - claiming the eighth and last spot for the medal race.
