Australian rookie Oscar Piastri has claimed his maiden Formula One victory, winning the night-time Sprint Race at the Qatar Grand Prix

The McLaren driver told Sky Sport he had some nervous moments trying to keep Max Verstappen at bay.



Verstappen's second place finish was enough to clinch a third successive F1 driver's championship title.

Kiwi Liam Lawson crashed out early in the Sprint, but can redeem himself tomorrow in the major race of the weekend.
