Tennis great Novak Djokovic has clinched the year-end World Number One ranking with victory in his first match at the season-ending ATP Finals in Italy

This year the Joker has won 3 of the 4 majors, reached the final of the 4th grand slam and equalled Margaret Court's all-time record of 24 majors!

Djokovic says finishing the year at number one for an 8th time was a huge goal.

On Monday Djokovic will hit 400 weeks of being number one - that's more than seven and a half years in the top spot.
