The newest Kiwi Supercars recruit is proud his road to the top in Australia was not the traditional journey

27-year-old Manawatu product Jaxon Evans only started racing competitively when relocating to the Gold Coast as a youngster.

Then - at end of 2018 - Evans was thrust into competitive European competition after winning a shootout to be a Porsche junior driver.

Evans will be the 5th Kiwi to be on the Supercars grid fulltime next season.
