    Investigations are underway after a suspicious bush fire in Otaki last night, prompted a rescue


    Police were called to Marine Parade at around 5:20pm.

    Fire and Emergency rescued two people trapped in the bush, taking them to safety through difficult terrain.

    Two 17-year-old males are assisting Police and will be referred to Youth Services.
