The New Zealand Warriors are returning to the women's NRL

The New Zealand Warriors are returning to the women's NRL

The competition's being expanded to 12 teams next year with the Warriors reintroduced after a five-year absence, plus the Bulldogs.

It'll likely be an 11-week regular season, two-week finals series and an eight-week preseason.

NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo says the decision's been based on geography and timing.
