The defending champion Matatu are unable to make the Super Rugby Aupiki final, but they're eager to finish the season on a high

The Mainland representatives tackle the Hurricanes Poua in Christchurch this afternoon, seeking their first win after four straight losses.

Matatu skipper Alana Bremner - heading into her 100th first-class match - says their games have been tight, but they haven't nailed the critical moments.

Kick off is in an hour - with live commentary on Gold Sport and iHeart Radio.
