    The Foreign Minister's taken New Zealand's opposition to a key function of the UN, right to the top


    Speaking to media from New York -- Winston Peters once again took aim at the veto right of countries in the Security Council.

    New Zealand's long been in opposition to this power, held by the likes of the US, China and Russia.

    Peters met with UN Secretary General António Guterres to raise these concerns.

    He they talked about the need for reform and change -- saying they had a very helpful discussion.
