Crusaders flanker Ethan Blackadder concedes he's had to be smarter in his preparation to avoid the chance of spending more time sidelined with injury

The 29-year-old's put together three games on the bounce after missing the start of the season with a calf strain.
Prior to that run he'd played just eight games across all levels since June 2022 due to shoulder surgery, and two other soft tissue injuries.
Blackadder says he's had to be more measured at training.
