A surge in popularity for Super Rugby Pacific

A surge in popularity for Super Rugby Pacific

Nearly 1.67 million New Zealanders have tuned in to matches across Sky's paid and free-to-air channels - an 11 percent increase on last year.

New Zealand Rugby boss Mark Robinson says the season so far has been action-packed, and unpredictable, and it's great to see the competition build momentum.

The Crusaders first win of the season against the Chiefs on Easter weekend has proved the most popular fixture to date with 482,000 viewers.

The top three most watched matches were all New Zealand derbies.
