Britney Spears is said to be home and "safe" after she was seen wandering topless in a blanket after reportedly being involved in a bust-up with her rumoured ex-boyfriend

The 'Toxic' singer, 42, sparked fears for her mental health after being snapped barefoot and dressed only in her underwear coming out of the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles looking distraught and bleary eyed as she was escorted to emergency services on Thursday (02.05.24) morning

A source has now told Page Six Britney, who lives in nearby Thousand Oaks, California, left the hotel grounds with her security, adding she is "home now and is safe".

Another insider told the outlet: "She is home and fine."

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said the emergency services didn't "transport anyone to the hospital" during the incident.

The ordeal happened just after Britney settled her divorce from ex-husband Sam Asghari, 30, late on Wednesday (01.05.24) night.

They called it quits in August 2023 after 14 months of marriage.

A source told Page Six: "Britney is continuing to turn the page."

They insisted the divorce was finalised "amicably" given the pair's "ironclad prenup".

Britney also recently reached a settlement with her estranged dad Jamie Spears, 71, in their conservatorship case, allowing them to avoid going to trial in what already had been a 13-year battle.

Jamie placed Britney under the controversial legal arrangement in February 2008 and a Los Angeles judge ended it in November 2021 after the Grammy winner described it as "abusive".

She is said to have been blowing her estimated $60 million fortune on holidays and lavish living since the ruling.

TMZ has reported Britney arrived at the Chateau late on Wednesday (01.05.24) night, and said police were called after a "disturbance" caused by someone who looked like the singer.

She and her rumoured ex Paul Richard Soliz reportedly then returned to their room around 11pm where the outlet said they "partied and drank".

They are said to have got into a "huge physical altercation" in which Britney "may have hurt her leg" and it was claimed she was "screaming" and "out of control" in the hallway of her suite.

Britney did not get into an ambulance and is said to have left with her security and without Paul - who she denied in February she'd been dating.

Paul has multiple felonies including as possession of a firearm in December 2022 when he was employed by Britney.

Britney has also caused concerns for her wellbeing on several occasions after being released from her controversial conservatorship as she regularly posts rambling messages on her Instagram alongside nude photos and videos, including a now-infamous one of her playing with knives in her kitchen.
