Police are continuing to try to piece together the timeline, before and after Sunday night's fatal shooting in Auckland

Police are continuing to try to piece together the timeline, before and after Sunday night's fatal shooting in Auckland

They allege 33-year-old Robert Sidney Horne was shot dead by 31-year-old Killer Beez member Hone Kay-Selwyn on Ponsonby Road on Sunday night.

Kay-Selwyn was found dead yesterday, on a rural property hundreds of kilometres away, near Taupo.

Detective Inspector Chris Barry says investigations are continuing, but there are still questions they can't answer, and they may never have a complete explanation of what happened.

He says they are not currently seeking anyone else as part of the investigation, but they appreciate the public will still have many questions.
