A New Zealand investment management fund is stepping up a notch to tackle climate change

Salt Funds Management is preparing to launch New Zealand's first Stock Exchange-listed investment fund.
It's designed to trade in New Zealand and international carbon credits.
Otago University's Ivan Diaz-Rainey says it creates a platform for people interested in climate change to participate.
He says it gives mum and dad investors an opportunity to invest in reducing carbon.
He says as they buy more units, the price goes up and they raise the incentives for firms to invest in emissions reduction.
