Data from the world's longest flight will be used to tackle jet-lag

A record-breaking Qantas flight from New York to Sydney is the first of three test flights to research long-haul fatigue.
The 50 passengers and crew followed a specialised diet and sleep regime - and the four pilots' alertness was assessed with brain-monitoring equipment .
Qantas Captain Sean Golding says the data will be useful for planning future flight paths.
