The mood of New Zealand businesses appears to be improving, after three quarters of doubt

The mood of New Zealand businesses appears to be improving, after three quarters of doubt

    27 January 2020
A survey by Wellington Chamber of Commerce has revealed businesses are overall more confident than they have been, that the economy will improve.

Chamber Chief Executive John Milford says the last three quarters were overall negative, but confidence is growing.

He says if the next one shows more positivity, then they'll know they're headed in the right direction.
