Invercargill City Council is set to finalise details of a six-month review
28 June 2021
An independent review into the council following concerns about significant conflict between representatives and senior staff raised by the Department of Internal Affairs last year.
Council chief executive Clare Hadley says the intention is to have Richard Thomson, the author of the original report, also carry out the six-month review.
She says it's an opportunity to take stock of what steps the council has taken to address governance matters raised by the DIA.
