A man shot by police at Dacre, near Invercargill on Saturday is facing a raft of charges

The 45-year-old appeared at Invercargill District Court yesterday via audio visual link from hospital - where he's in a stable condition.
He was shot when he allegedly approached police wielding a knife - after reportedly fleeing a family harm incident.
Charges include assault with intent to rob, possession of an offensive weapon and reckless driving.
He's been remanded in custody to reappear in court on Monday.
