Police say they've cut short a crime spree on Auckland's North Shore

Police say they've cut short a crime spree on Auckland's North Shore

A 26-year-old's accused of stealing a woman's car in Browns Bay yesterday, threatening her with screwdriver.

Police say half an hour later, he allegedly jumped the counter of a Northcote Supermarket and took tobacco and money.

They say after a car chase including a dangerous U turn into oncoming traffic, a man was arrested near the Greville Rd motorway on ramp.

A man's set to appear in court charged with burglary, intentional damage, assault, and reckless driving.
