A new wardrobe didn't help one alleged burglar escape the cops in Auckland this morning

A new wardrobe didn't help one alleged burglar escape the cops in Auckland this morning

Police received a report of a burglary in progress at a Manurewa dental clinic at 3am.

Inspector Warrick Adkin says units were quickly on scene at the business and took one man into custody, while another took off in a vehicle.

He says he didn't drive far, instead changing his clothes and attempting to walk away on foot, before being arrested by Police.

The two 36 year olds will appear in the Manukau District Court today.
