The South Island continues to battle fires, with two re-igniting -- and two people dying in home blazes

Six fire trucks have returned to Kirwee today - west of Christchurch -- where an un-contained fire's taken off again, to cover 200 by 100 metres.
And at Lake Pearson, five trucks and a helicopter are back assisting ground crews, with two flare-ups.
In Christchurch's Hornby, a person's died this afternoon in a house fire on Dickson Crescent.
And in Marlborough - a person's died, after yesterday falling into a coal range at a home in Renwick.
Marlborough and parts of Nelson-Tasman will follow Canterbury and Mid-South Canterbury into a restricted fire season's tomorrow.
