A familiar face is returning to the Breakers

Well-travelled guard Tai Webster has been called in after Izayah Le'afa was ruled out for the rest of the Australian NBL basketball season.

X-rays have revealed Le'afa suffered a stress fracture in his foot during the Tall Blacks loss to Australia in Wellington last night.

Webster averaged more than 17 points per game during the most recent of his two previous stints with the Breakers in 2020-21.
