Auckland E-scooter users will now be able to choose between a Flamingo and a Lime

The two companies have been granted the contract for the city, between them allowed to deploy 3000 scooters.

Seven companies applied for the contract.

Flamingo CEO, Jacksen Love, says his company has plenty of experience.

He says the company is already operating in Wellington, Palmerston North, Porirua, Waimakariri and Dunedin.
