Former New Zealand cricket captain Tim Southee's playing down the notion of sharing "intellectual property" with his new employers

Former New Zealand cricket captain Tim Southee's playing down the notion of sharing "intellectual property" with his new employers

The 36-year-old is a bowling consultant for England and will coach the tourists against the Black Caps - 10 months after playing his last test.

Southee joins Brendon McCullum and Jeetan Patel on England's staff.

He says his knowledge of conditions, and players, only goes so far.

The T-20 series starts tomorrow in Christchurch.
