Higher fuel prices and housing costs are expected to lift official inflation figures, which are out this morning

The Reserve Bank forecast September quarter inflation would be 0.4 percent, when they predicted in August.
But Andrew Kelleher from JMI Wealth expects that to be closer to 0.8 - after recent fuel and living cost increases.
He says that would take annual inflation, or the Consumer Price Index, to 1.8 percent.
Kelleher says there are other inflationary pressures as well, which takes us close to the Reserve Bank's two percent goal.
