The latest Trade Me property figures show the average asking price for Auckland's central suburbs has increased by 2.6 per cent.
That brings it to just over 917-thousand-dollars.
Head of Trade Me Property Nigel Jeffries says Auckland CITY experienced the largest increase.
He says the average asking price is up 7 per cent on last year.
He says the property index dropped during several months in Winter but numbers are back in positive territory.
