    The men's Black Sticks are contemplating a game-changing 2019


    Their premature exit from the Hockey World Cup in India means they can begin thinking about the new Pro League and Olympic qualification next year.

    Coach Darren Smith says the Pro-league which sees home and away games played against the world's best teams is a big step forward for their programme.

    He says it's so hard to travel for most things, but on this occasion both teams will travel.

    The first games against the Netherlands and Belgium are late next month.
