English fast bowler Stuart Broad has revealed he's copied Sir Richard Hadlee in making significant changes to his bowling action, in the hope of extending his test career.
In a column for the Mail on Sunday, Broad says he made technical changes to his action, such as shortening his run-up and changing his release position.
Broad, who has two more wickets than Hadlee across his career, says he watched YouTube footage to try and copy the Kiwis technique from his test against England at Edgbaston in 1990.
A match in which Hadlee took eight wickets.
