Westpac says the labour market is in great shape, with strong demand for workers, and the unemployment rate in more than a decade.
The report says the prospect of a stable and productive employment situation looks likely.
Chief economist Dominick Stephens says the one measure that hasn't picked up is wage inflation... but they expect it to as employers find it more difficult to attract and retain staff, and offer more.
