Slow sales last month mean many house and apartment vendors will have to relist, but people in some regions had more luck

Real Estate Institute figures show the lowest residential sales in December for seven years.
Chief executive Bindi Norwell says volumes dropped in Auckland by 24 percent, in Taranaki by 23 percent and in Wellington by 16 percent.
However, some regions had an increase.
Norwell says the West Coast went up, along with Tasman, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay.
