Katrina Rore has taken heed of the direct words from Silver Ferns coach Noeline Taurua as she plots her return to the black dress

The former Silver Ferns captain was a shock omission from Taurua's recent Northern Quad Series squad and faces a tough road to return to the international fold in time for July's world cup.

Rore says Taurua was open about what she wants to see from her.

Katrina Rore says the first steps towards achieving those objectives is to have a solid pre-season with the Central Pulse and better understand the team dynamic.
