    A bad day on the roads with two deaths in two separate crashes


    One person has died following a serious crash on State Highway 34

    The crash occurred just after 5pm and involved two cars.

    One other person sustained moderate injuries

    Earlier A person died in a crash on Waiapu Rd, Tokomaru Bay.

    Emergency services responded to the single vehicle crash around 2pm

    Another person is in a serious condition in Gisborne Hospital.
