American boxer Deontay Wilder has emphatically returned to the win column, knocking out compatriot Dominic Breazeale with an overpowering first-round right hand to defend his WBC heavyweight title
19 May 2019
There was no coming back from the hit that immediately dropped Breazeale, who was trying to get up as referee Harvey Dock counted him out after two minutes and 17 seconds.
Wilder was coming off his draw against Tyson Fury in December, the first fight of his pro career that wasn't a victory with his record now at 41 wins, no losses and a draw.
