The Panthers have been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons in 2019, including player Tyrone May getting stood down on two charges of recording an "intimate" video without consent.
There have also been numerous reports that further videos involving other players are likely to be released.
Cleary says the young players were rattled as their form has since fallen off a cliff.
