    The Black Sox accept they simply weren't good enough to make their 11th consecutive softball World Championship final


    New Zealand will play off for third against Canada, after the sides lost to Japan and Argentina respectively in the semi-finals.

    Black Sox coach Mark Sorenson says Japan and Argentina are surprise but worthy finalists.



    The final and third-fourth playoff games will be played overnight.
