Hockey New Zealand feel the Black Sticks' performances at the FIH Hockey Pro League are reflective of their world stature

Hockey New Zealand feel the Black Sticks' performances at the FIH Hockey Pro League are reflective of their world stature

The women's side finished sixth, with six wins and 10 losses, while the men's team were winless in 14 games.

Hockey NZ CEO Ian Francis says both team's respective finishes mirror their world rankings.

Olympics qualification is the next priority, with New Zealand meeting Australia in the Oceania Cup in September for an automatic place in Tokyo.
