Four men - two from Australia, a Croatian and a Serb - have pleaded guilty, after being charged with importing 20-million-dollars worth of the Class A drug in 2017.
The 46-kilogram haul was stashed in a compartment in a container ship's hull, which arrived in Tauranga from Chile.
Their trial was meant to begin this week.
They've all been remanded in custody until their sentencing in August - at which lengthy prison terms are expected.
