NZ produce memorable one-day international cricket fielding displays to beat India in World Cup
New Zealand have produced one of their most memorable one-day international cricket fielding displays to defeat India by 18 runs and qualify for the World Cup final at Lord's on Sunday night
11 July 2019
After making 239 for eight on the reserve day of the semi-final at Old Trafford, they dismissed India's galaxy of batting talent for 221.
They slumped to 5 for 3 early then 24 for 4 when Jimmy Neesham claimed a one-handed catch at point off Dinesh Karthik.
Ross Taylor top-scored with 74 for the Black Caps - he says Neesham's catch, the bowling of Matt Henry and Trent Boult early, and Martin Guptill's one-stump run out of MS Dhoni were highlights.
Henry was man-of-the-match with figures of three for 37.
