Katrina Rore is struggling to comprehend the Silver Ferns' Netball World Cup triumph

Katrina Rore is struggling to comprehend the Silver Ferns' Netball World Cup triumph

The former captain, who was axed for January's Quad Series, has stood on the dais with her teammates as world champs after a 52-51 triumph over Australia in the final.

The Ferns led from late in the first quarter and didn't let Australia back in front, despite some nervy moments.

Rore can't quite believe it's happened.

She says they're looking at each other, not quite believing what they've achieved.

England cruised to the bronze medal with a 58-42 win over South Africa.
