    Nathan Lyon has spun Australia to a comeback victory in the first Ashes cricket test at Edgbaston, to win by 251 runs midway through day five


    He took six for 49.

    England had been set a target of 398 but were bundled out for 146.

    Steve Smith was man-of-the-match after compiling a century in each innings.



    Dale Steyn and Brendon McCullum have made conditional retirements from the sport.

    Steyn exits a 14-year test tenure, but will continue to be available for ODIs and T20s.
