Court hears how patched Nomads gangster drove associate to where he was later fatally stabbed

A court's heard today a patched Nomads gangster drove a gang associate to a house where he was later stabbed to death

25-year-old Shayne Heappey was stabbed 14 times during a brutal attack in December last year.

Today, 51-year-old Richard Sim has appeared in the High Court in Christchurch in relation to the attack.

He pleaded guilty to one charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to injure.

The Court was told the victim was believed to owe a person connected to the gang a small debt.

Sim has been remanded in custody until next month.
