    Bury has been kicked out of England's Football League


    The third-tier side has been battling severe financial issues and a takeover bid for the club collapsed.

    The deadline to complete the deal passed earlier this morning without completion.

    League One will comprise of 23 teams for the rest of the season and only three teams will be relegated.

    They're the first team to drop out of the football league system since 1992.

    Cash-strapped Bolton Wanderers have been given 14 days to meet financial requirements of membership to the Football League or will otherwise receive the same treatment.
